ACI Communications, Inc./AUGAT History

      In October of 1999, ACI purchased the Augat RF amplifier product line
       from Thomas & Betts, Inc. This acquisition included the physical  
       facilities, assets, and intellectual property.  Most importantly, ACI was 
       able to retain all of the key management, engineering, manufacturing 
       and production personnel.

• 1969 - Augat goes public

• 1985 - Augat acquired Telzon  (telephone connectorized blocks)

• 1988 - Augat acquired Broadband Engineering (RF amplifiers)

• 1989 - Augat acquired LRC Electronics (connectors)

• 1994 - Augat acquired Photon  (headend optics)

• 1995 - Augat acquired Aster (fiber optics)

• 1996 - Augat purchased by Thomas & Betts

• 1999 - Thomas & Betts sold Augat Broadband RF Amplifier
              product line to ACI Communications, Inc.
